Sinners are in spiritual blindness, darkened by the Fall and the false teachings of religious hypocrites. They need the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ – the gospel of Him doing everything, faith in Him, and the eternal riches that He freely bestows by His obedience to the death, as a Great God and Savior. Sinners need to understand the forgiveness of sins, freedom from God’s law, and we must be taught to walk acceptably by faith in our complete acceptance, accomplished for us by the Son of God. We need to see Him exalted to the Father’s right hand with all power as the reason we have redemption, hope, and the reason that we are not punished. We must know “no condemnation in Christ Jesus”, and the law of the Spirit, whereby POWER is given, while we behold God’s love in Christ – the love and predestine us to eternal life, bringing all things to pass for our salvation, including giving us the joyful passion of obedience. This holiness is not drudged up by man, but God given; it is the yoke that’s not bondage and the commandment keeping that is not grievous.
Satan has men bound, and he’s a cruel master. I spent 18 years under his fog as a BELIEVING preacher of the gospel -a man doing it myself, like Moses when he first attempted to save, or like Jonah, going in the opposite direction from Nineveh. We must know that God is the pleasure that we’re looking for, so we can be delivered from the world (1 John 2:15).
It is not rule keeping; it is Person loving – not stirring up yourselves to walk the line, but God purging our conscience from empty, selfish dead works to serve the Son by His heart conquering love. Paul said, “For Christ’s love compels us, since we have reached this conclusion: If One died for all, then all died. And He died for all so that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for the One who died for them and was raised (2 Cor 5:14-15).”
The gospel is the light, knowledge, and deliverance that all must have; it is the purpose of Paul’s preaching and of my life. Join with me and walk in freedom. Join the saints of old and see what faith can do, even as Jacob prevailed with God, Mark wrote his Gospel after quitting, and Moses was called unexpectedly when 2/3 of his life was done, including 1/3 in the desert after failure.
You can and will walk with God by daily meditation on things above – how rich you are in Christ – returning to Him, and cherishing His presence as the highest privilege of humanity.
“MY DAILY GOSPEL” is built upon the foundation that we need Christ, daily, and He’s promised to give Himself in the gospel. We cannot function in joy, peace, and power without beholding His glory, and this blog is dedicated to daily uplifting Christ (Monday-Friday) and assisting us to keep our eyes on His love. He is worthy of our devotion, and communion with God in the gospel is the strength of our heart and the power of cleansing; it is faith enjoying her Lord. Song of Solomon 3:4, “I have found Him whom my soul loves”. Exodus 16:4, says, “Then the LORD said to Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you and the people will go out and gather a day’s portion every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or not.”
